Chapter Four: The Lost Villages (Interlude I)
While resting overnight in Hockton Barrow on the evening of March 21 Rygorh received the following sending from Lady Arigane:
The Duergar army is on the march. They have moved past Lichgate and are approaching Lower Scumsgrove.
The next morning the heroes start out for Astercote via Saragost. A group of drow ambushes the party. The heroes manage to dispatch the drow and recover a fair amount of gear from them.
It's likely you all will stop overnight in Saragost. Let's play out events there (like selling gear) via 'blog comments. . .

Shortly after the fight with the drow ambushers Rygorh receives another Sending from Lady Arigane:
I have discovered some new information that is of great importance to you. Please attend me as soon as possible in Saragost.
Rygorh can respond with a message of no more than twenty five words to Lady Arigane.
So, can I assume you all will gather up gear and travel on to Saragost? You can make it there by mid/late afternoon easily . . . assuming no more trouble on the road. Once there you can sell gear, buy more gear and visit with Lady Arigane. Rygorh can sneak off behind everyone's back to do his thing too.
I strongly suggest one of the PCs keeps the +1 mithral chain shirt as it's very good armor for your level . . . anyone that can wear light or better armor of medium size would benefit. Cost (to pay to the party) would be 1,150 gp.
Wouldn't the cost be 1,050gp? 1,100gp for the Mithral Chain Shirt + 1,000gp for +1 Magical = 2,100gp/2 for sale price = 1,050gp?
It seems everyone (that's posted) is agreed that you should go to Saragost and meet with Arigane. Let's fast forward to that point. Post new comments here.
