Chapter Four: The Lost Villages (Rygorh goes to Church)

Rygorh unceremoniously leaves the meeting with Lady Arigane at the Sanctuary of the Seven Archways. The Knife is right behind him. Casey pauses a moment and then slips out behind them being careful to hide her presence.

Rygorh makes for the Inn of the Flaming Beard with the Knife tagging along. While Rygorh has no idea that Casey is behind him, the Knife spots her slipping among the crowds at a distance.

Once inside Rygorh makes arrangements to meet with the whore he had on his first night in town. She will be available in a half hour or so. In the meantime the Torbrind Gilhoolie, the barkeeper, serves up some drinks and takes to cursing and insulting Rygorh and the Knife. Casey manages to slip into the bar without Rygorh seeing her. The Knife spots her right off.

The barkeep signals to Rygorh that his lady is upstairs waiting for him . . . in the usual room.

Rygorh's business concludes satisfactorily, and he manages to sneak out of the inn through the window without mishap. The trip to the shrine of Firinna is uneventful as the pressing crowd of the city mostly ignores Rygorh and he ignores them.

Arriving at the shrine, Rygorh finds the local Acolyte, a human fellow by the name of Jarumus Artelmay. Jarumus welcomes his brother and happily performs the appropriate rites and incantations to the Goddess of War and Fire with Rygorh.

"So, Brother Rygorh, what can I do for you this day?"

With cat-like reflexes and incredible stealth Casey shadows Rygorh to the shrine of Firinna. She hangs out in an alleyway near the church waiting for Rygorh to finish his business (not THAT business again you perverts!).
