Chapter Seven: Flight to Crescent City (first night)
April 3, just past midnight
The Starborn have been aboard the Elensil for several hours in their flight from the Duergar army that has captured Saragost. The weather has turned cool and a storm blows in from the north. Rain lashes the deck, wind rips at the sails and crashing thunder punctuates flashes of lightning.
A sudden dread overcomes each of the heroes. A deep sense of loss crushes their spirits followed by a brief bout of nausea. Those who are sleeping have terrifying dreams of darkness falling over something beloved to them . . . something important. Gripped by fear the Starborn see visions of a great blackness swallowing the stars . . . or ripping them from the fabric of reality . . . time is growing short . . . the Dark is moving . . .

After the first day or so, Seebo can usually be found on deck (when the weather isn't bad).
"Indeed, Alev is right. We cannot falter now more than ever. Sometimes it has to get worse before it can get better. We have a few days before we hit Caldraza. Let us spend this time mourning the loss of Saragost. But when we make landfall, let our resolve be stronger than ever. Saragost was only the first of many battles to come. That we lost this one battle does not mean the war is over. And Neil, that we didn't save the Tump or the Node doesn't mean we failed. We did everything we could but an army stood between us and victory. Its not a failure, merely a setback. If the Host can corrupt a Node, who's to say the Starborn cannot purify one? Let us focus on what we have ahead of us rather than what has already passed. One day we shall return to Saragost and free them and take back the Node and the Tump.
Rygorh, why don't we give it some time. When we get to Caldraza, lets get some rooms at a local inn and plan our next move there.
